The machined and anodized aluminum spool uses the Line Capacity Rings to help keep you informed on how much line is left as you are working on bringing in that fish. A smooth and comfortable fishing experience is possible with the 4 shielded stainless steel ball bearings in this spinning reel. This high quality and affordable reel uses a thick bail wire and upgraded handle knobs to give a reliable fishing experience. This spinning reel uses an oil felt drag system to maintain the high quality of the Penn spinning reels. To avoid having the line roller go bad like on many other reels, Penn reels use a bushing in the line roller to extend the life and give more reliabilitiy to this value packed reel.
